The Deben Inns story began in 1992 while the Lomas family were running The Wilford Bridge at Melton. The next step came when the business acquired the lease of The Maybush Inn, Waldringfield, in October of 1997 and four years later another beautiful riverside location in the form of The Butt & Oyster at Pin Mill. The Fox Inn, Newbourne, The Coach and Horses at Melton, The Swan at Westerfield, The Ship at Levington and The Kings Head in Woodbridge have all since joined the group, with each site offering its own individuality and uniqueness.Discover the true essence of Suffolk hospitality with Deben Inns. We are a champion for using local produce and where possible we source our ingredients from local Suffolk businesses, keeping our food fresh and ensuring quality. Our real ales are a feature of ours Inns, all being cask marque certified, and each pub has a different range to choose from, again supporting local brewers when we can.
