Halloween isn’t just about costumes and candy—it’s also about delicious seasonal treats! This year, Wilf has shared his classic pumpkin pie recipe, full of warming spices and autumn flavour, perfect for the season.
Since joining us in June 1998, Wilf has been a much-loved part of The Maybush, supporting the team through many changes and developments over the years. Known for his dedication and warmth, he’s also famous among staff and guests for his incredible baking — especially his legendary pancakes on Pancake Day and pumpkin pie at Halloween. Away from the pub, he’s a keen runner, representing the Ipswich jaffas and even running the Woodbridge 10k for our very own Deben Inns team. We’re proud to have him as part of our family.
