🐣 Easter at Deben Inns 🐣
There’s something about a long Easter weekend that just feels different. A bit more time, a bit more relaxed, and the perfect excuse to get out, catch up with friends and family, and enjoy a few proper pub moments along the way.
This year, the Easter weekend runs from Friday 3rd April to Monday 6th April, and across those four days all of our Deben Inns pubs will be open all day, every day — so however you like to spend it, there’s always somewhere ready to welcome you in.
For those who like to make the most of the morning, The Kings Head, The Coach & Horses, The Butt and Oyster, The Maybush and The Swan will all be serving breakfast 7 days a week, right through the Easter weekend. Whether it’s a full English to set you up for the day ahead or something lighter with a good coffee, it’s the ideal way to start things off.
From there, the pace is entirely up to you.
Easter is a great time to get outdoors, and all of our pubs are perfectly placed for it — from riverside walks to countryside routes that are even better with a pub at the end of them. It’s the kind of weekend where a walk naturally turns into lunch, lunch turns into drinks, and suddenly you’ve spent the whole afternoon exactly where you want to be.
Of course, if walking isn’t on the agenda, that’s fine too. Easter is just as much about slowing down — settling in with good food, a drink in hand, and nowhere else to be. Whether it’s a quiet table for two, a family meal, or a bigger group getting together, our pubs are set up for it all.
With seasonal menus, a great selection of drinks, and that familiar, relaxed Deben Inns atmosphere, it’s an easy place to spend a few hours — or a good part of the day.
As always with a long weekend, it can get busy, especially at peak times, so we’d recommend booking ahead where you can. It just makes things that bit easier and means you can arrive knowing everything’s sorted.
